I find the following list of facts rather ominous:


If you find this sort of thing worrying, consider signing Democracy for America's petition, which asks Congress & the state election boards to require voter-verifiable machines & a paper trail.

I believe that California has already decided to eliminate all electronic voting machines over these concerns. Of course, if California used Diebold machines and went Republican in 2004, it would be a little obvious that there was voting fraud.

According to Google searching, action by the CA Attorney General is being considered, but has not been undertaken. Yet.
