Poll: is Gov. Blagojevich insane?

Man, I have really come to love Gov. Crazypants Blagojevich of Illinois. He has nearly supplanted former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld at the top of my list of Most Quotable Crazy Public Figures. In his latest fun quoted-filled interview, he likens his impeachment to Pearl Harbor, & claims that the state legislature wants him out of the way so they can get on with the evil schemes to raise taxes on all the people of Illinois.

I think it's now the last 4 Governors have been indicted on some crime or another and faced jail time.

If I were a voter in Illinois, I might categorically distrust politicians from my home state too.

I should also say that just because you're crazy and in government in IL, doesn't mean you can't be a) well liked by the populace or b) a total dictator.

Take, for example, the case of Mayor Daley. Well-liked, re-elected every time...totally batshit! And, once, he decided to close an airport in Chicago by hiring equiptment to come in in the wee hours of the night and bulldoze the fucking runway.

That's definitely a novel approach! I like innovation in government! That's why I enjoy working through the FEMA infrastructure process with batshit crazy local politicians so much.
