Crack open a cold one.

It's almost five o'clock. Time to crack open a 12 oz. corporate donation from Anheuser-Busch:
Pure Rocky Mountain spring wat- wait, that's someone else.

*crack* Ahhh! Tastes a lot like a normal Budweiser!

I'm pulling together the last components of my Halloween costume for a party tonight. The last thing I need is a roll of duct tape. I like to think that needing a roll of duct tape before heading out means that it will be a good night out.

Have fun! And remember, if you say "Trick or treat" and it says "blaaaarrggghhhh," it's probably a zombie.

Hey-

Just watched Shaun of the Dead! CLASSIC! Bert and I are hosting Scary Movie Night tonight. We are watching The Shining on a big screen, with surround sound, in our backyard. Nothing like temps in the 40s to make for a good outdoor movie night, huh?!?! Wish you were here. Mulled cider is brewing in the crock pot in your memory, dear.

I imagine it does taste a lot like regular Bud!

And I wholeheartedly agree... any night that involves duct tape is a good one. Party!

This can of water's for you. Drink responsibly. :D

... but it's Viking Budweiser, and that makes it good.

[identity profile] thereject.livejournal.com 2005-10-30 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
On a side note, I can't for the life of me recall the train of thought that led me to viking-water. It made sense at the time.

I was going to ask, but ... it's you. Asking probably wouldn't have clarified.

[identity profile] funkyplaid.livejournal.com 2005-10-30 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
HA! Glad to hear you're lushing it up with some good, strong drink. Have one for me; your pumpkin is melting, but says hello!

More like, "bleeeeaaaarrrggghhh..."

[identity profile] angledge.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 01:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Good, strong drink came later in the evening. And good, strong drunken phone calls home came later than that.

[identity profile] funkyplaid.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Good and strong, most definitely. Did you ever get the tarp peeled off?

[identity profile] angledge.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Escaping from that tarp took an unbelievable amount of effort. Also, getting all the blue face paint off... well, my shower scrubbie will never be the same.

I checked out of the hotel the next morning., leaving behind piles of blue-stained towels, a blue-smeared pillowcase, & blue streaks in the tub. Oops....

Yikes! When they said that American beer was like making love in a canoe, I thought they were joking.

[identity profile] richcsigs.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
That's funny.

Any chance I can get you to mail me an empty can? I have a friend who collects cans that would like that.

[identity profile] angledge.livejournal.com 2005-10-31 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll see if I can get one.
