are those... emaciated lego people?

Totally lacking in realism, as well. They would NEVER let you go through without taking off your scarf and jacket. And how is that machine reader going to chase you through the airport when her knees don't bend?

Even scarier is that you can put it on a baby registry.

The Playmobil radar cop and box-set of cop and crook are pretty ersatz, too.

Is that...a Playmobile security checkpoint?

*stares in shock*

In Playmobil's defense, that "tourist" is obviously some kind of dadgum forrinur. Look at that striped shirt! That yellow jacket and red pants! The friggin' scarf! I bet they're a Frenchie! Confiscate their luggage, break out the cavity search, and deport their ass!

I personally am looking forward to the Lego version of this toy.

I must disagree with your reasons for believing the tourist is foreign. You should go play "guess the country of origin!" in midtown. The more colors a person is wearing, the more likely they are American.

However, the cut and variety of the clothing does identify him as a foreigner. An American would never wear a blazer with that girly cut.

Ha ha! Those wacky Germans...
