Difficult patient
Mom is doing pretty well. One major scare this morning - she passed out! Dad & I thought she had had a heart attack or something!! It turned out to be just low blood pressure. You see, she's supposed to wear these bed hose (called Teds) which compress her legs & help keep her blood pressure up. Well, she didn't wear them to bed last night, so when she got up this morning .... thunk.
About an hour after this, Mom & I had a major row. She was being very demanding & was insisting that I get up from eating breakfast to take an insurance card out to the car, this instant. I was ignoring her & eating my Cheerios. So she threw the card at me. I blew up & started shouting at her, so my dad ordered me to take the dog for a walk. When I got back 15 minutes later, she apologized, & I apologized. Grrr.
She's supposed to be doing physical therapy three times a day. And look! It's mid-day. Time to go pester her into exercising. After that, I'm going to the pool for some working out myself.
