Chaosvizier interviews Angledge
1) If you could master the use of any weapon, what would it be?
Practical answer or cool answer, practical or cool ... nah, let's go with nerdy. I'd like to master the use of the Staff of Magius. Especially if mastery involved lessons from its previous owner, Raistlin Majere.
2) What fictional character in literature do you empathize with the most? Why?
Tough question. I empathize with so many characters, especially in the works of Guy Gavriel Kay. I also love Raistlin (see above answer). Recently, I was intrigued by the character Cathy Jean from the comic book Rising Stars. She was surrounded by gifted people (the Specials) but never thought of herself as special. It wasn't until later in life that she discovered that she, too, had a gift.
3) What memory do you have that is now hazy with age/time/drink, but you wish you could forever recall with perfect clarity?
I wish I could perfectly remember a conversation I had when I was 13, when a friend of mine told me she was gay & I immediately knew that I was too. I buried that memory so deeply that the details are pretty fuzzy, but it was a pivotal moment in my life.
4) When you're away this year, what three things will you miss most about back here?
1. Stacy.
2. The Hive.
3. Decent vegetarian food.
5) What actress would play you in "angledge - The Movie"?
Drew Barrymore. When I was little, people said I looked like her when she was in the movie "Firestarter". Also, she's sassy & cute. I like her.
Thanks for the questions, CV!
Good answers!
And yes, I liked Cathy Jean's character. The scene where Willie rescues her was one of my favorites in the second book.
Drew Barrymore? Interesting... but I can see how that could work. That's not so bad. At least you don't look like Julia Roberts.
