I think it has more to do with the homicide total exceeding last year's...before December (usually the deadliest) even started. Not that people who go around shooting other people really pay much attention to gun control legislation.

Seriously, you'd think they would look at how it worked for DC. They just need to pass a low so everybody is required to carry a gun. I'd like to see how that one turns out.

Unfortunately I shall not be joining in by participating in the new found freedoms. I and my SO are not interested in getting married at ATM. Still, a good thing, I think.

However, it may well make a big difference to my wedding photography portfolio... :-)
