Dude! I want a mountain in Scotland! Think we can convince BD to buy one?
Obviously, I'd encourage anyone with any interest in photography to take a class. ;) The class I took a year or two ago was definitely focused on art photograhy and was all black and white, which isn't for everyone, I'm sure. My friend girlie47 took several classes that were more focused on image composition and whatnot, using color slide film that they had professionally developed. She really enjoyed them. So there are options even if you don't aspire to be an artiste.
