I'll fix the numbering later. This one's a quickie.

I am working on a report right now using a database report that tells us where known contaminated sites are located. There is a section of the report called "Orphan Sites" where sites with poor address information are listed (usually, sites are plotted on a map so you can see how close they are to the site you're investigating). Des walks by my desk as I'm perusing the Orphan Sites List & says, "Write it up this way: 'There are no facilities within a one-mile radius of the site that are used for the warehousing of orphans, as the State of California no longer provides such warehouses. Orphans are now dealt with utilizing trench-and-backfill methodologies.'"
