I've been going back through and reading your New Orleans tags.
Some of the things that you talk about I completely missed. I never had a favorite debris pile. Some of the things you talked about reminded me of how far we have come at this point. I forgot that thrill of coming to an intersection and it no longer being a 4-way stop because they finally got the light working. I barely realized that I no longer see refrigerators on the sidewalks anymore. We've come a long way.
And the PNPs are still SOL. My poor buddy is the PNP PAC and he's having to clean up some FUBAR PWs from long ago. That damn CEF girl in QA/QC isn't making his life any easier as well.
I did have the fortune of seeing M* bring in some of those bigass shrimp.
Did I tell you that I floored a guy by randomly turning to him and saying "You think of me as some Yankee Carpetbagger, don't you?"
branniejan & I met in FEMA training in Washington DC & worked together in the Harahan office for nearly four months. I met rhiannonjk through the neworleans community & helped her get a job with my company. She's still deployed down there.
