angledge is interviewed by jade_phoenix
Jun. 19th, 2003 08:10 pmOK, the latest diversion I've found via the LJ Sluggites is the Shower Meme, which reportedly was started here by
anoisblue and is named thus because she thought of it in the shower.
Instructions for the meme: If you want me to interview you -- post a comment below that simply says, "Interview me." I'll post a response with questions for you to take back to your own journal and answer as a post. Of course, they'll be different for each person since this is an interview and not a general survey. At the bottom of your post, after answering the Interviewer's questions, you ask if anyone wants to be interviewed. So it becomes your turn-- in the comments, you ask them any questions you have for them to take back to their journals and answer. And so it becomes the circle.
1) Which (preferably famous) person do you think you were in your past life?
I don't believe in reincarnation, but if I did, I'd like to have been some kick-ass woman like Queen Elizabeth I, Joan of Arc, the Queen of Sheba, or Molly Pitcher. I admire women who defy convention.
2) If you could resurrect one person from their grave to continue doing their life work for another lifetime, whom would you choose?
Maybe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Another possibility would be Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
3) Oh dear! You've been stranded on a desert island, and all you have left of your music collection are 5 CDs. Fortunately, they're your very favorites. What are they?
U2 ~ The Joshua Tree
Indigo Girls ~ 1,200 Curfews
The Philadelphia Orchestra, Eugene Ormandy conducting ~ Beethoven's 9th Symphony in D Minor (Chorale)
Nine Inch Nails ~ The Downward Spiral
Ani DiFranco ~ Little Plastic Castles
4) Is there a particular scene from any movie that always make you cry when you watch it?
In Philadelphia, there's a scene at the very end of the movie where Tom Hanks' character, who is dying of AIDS, turns to his partner, played by Antonio Banderas, and says, "I'm ready." He's saying that he's ready to die, & I cry every single time I see it.
5) What's your favorite dessert?
Hoo hoo. Such a tough call. Some days call for strawberry cheesecake, others demand Death by Chocolate, & some require peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. But I'll tell you what I'm absolutely jonesing for today ~ Thin Mints. Girl Scout Thin Mints. I could eat an entire box.
Thanks for the interview, JP!! Who's next?
