Here in NZ we spell that "Cue".

Mmmm...now I want to play pool.

Ang, Ang, is it the sort of stick dance where the stick is connected to a floor and a ceiling and items of clothing start coming off? Because that's a cause we can all get behind. *nod nod*

Sorry guys, it's the middle of the workday which means it's highly unlikely I've had enough to drink to start pole-dancing.

My cube also is lacking in poles.

Stick time? Que?

"Stick time" = usually refers to the time 11:11. Which, for reasons known only to [profile] marasca, is called "stick time". When you see a clock at stick time, you do a little dance.

I don't make the rules; I just twist them.

Wow... that's a unique fact that just pushed my old hometown address out of my repository of memories. It was worth it, though. I shall dance to stick time from now on.... dance as though no one is watching.

That's a shame. I have a little Pole that sits next to me every day at work.

What kind of stick? Hitting stick? Smiting stick? Ugly stick? Glue stick?

We need to know!

Sticks, like the number "1" looks like a stick. When Time is made up of nothing but sticks, it is "Stick Time".

Do you also call midnight (00:00) "ring/hole/circle/bowl/etc. time"?

The traditional stick time dance (as I learned from [profile] marasca) involves making your hands into fists, bending your arms at the elbows, swinging your arms back'n'forth just a bit, in time to the Song Of Your Choice. You can also do-do-do-dah-dah-dah some accompanying tune for your stick dance.

Often the stick time dance is done whilst sitting (in the car, in the office, etc.). So instead of actually moving one's feet, you just sorta wriggle around in your seat.

Do-do-do-dah-dah-dah .....

I kinda like "bowl time". How should one mark bowl time? Quick game of ninepins?

What better way to commemorate "bowl time" than by getting one of these...

And you know that we've all had one...

This guy is in his 50s (?). I don't know a thing about him, other than he's an engineer.

That's the spirit! I think we all have a little pole inside us.

Uhhh... that came out wrong.

I can categorically state that I have never (nor will I ever) have a hair cut like that!

It's an anti-mullet!

It conjures up memories like the old joke, "what's brown and sticky?"

This joke does not work in German. I've tried.

Every once in a while I type "LJDQ" in the livejournal search engine and see what it comes up with. Somehow, that showed up on page 4 or something. Got me how...
