1. Who, among your friends, do you most admire and why?
I admire my friend J.C. (despite the initials, I am not referring to the Son of God). He's the most intelligent person I've ever met, a phenomenal musician, has a sense of humour with a razor's edge buried in it, & he can hold a fascinating conversation on almost any topic you care to name. He's authored two books: one is a collection of his own short stories, the other a textbook on non-Euclidean geometry. And he's accomplished all that he has while fighting severe depression & being born in Bumbley, PA.
2. Who, among your family, do you most admire and why?
My mom. 35-year teaching veteran. Enough said.
3. Who, among the famous and/or infamous, do you most admire and why?
I usually don't pick people I don't know & use them as role models. I tend to admire people I know in real life. It's not really possible to know a famous person just through media coverage.
4. Why do you think someone would admire you?
For my stunning pulchritude in a dress, of course.
5. What would you consider to be one of your most admirable qualities?
I'm pretty good at organising: tasks, groups of people, information. It's a valuable skill as long as I can keep the inherent anal retention of it under control.
