Happy birthday, Spider-Dad!

Today is Spider-Dad's birthday. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it hard to shop for presents for my parents. They've been alive for quite a while now, & they've pretty much acquired everything that they want. Anyway, this year I solved the birthday present dilemma by "buying" my dad an orangutan - that is, making a symbolic adoption of an orangutan by donating some money to the World Wildlife Fund in Spider-Dad's name.

So today, I get the following email from Spider-Dad:

"Angie:

Thanks so much. I received the photo of my new adoptive son the other day and Mom framed it. Rusty is now proudly displayed on my office wall..... you aren't btw.

Dad XXOO"

Oh-ho! Well, that PERMANENTLY solves the birthday present dilemma, at least as far as Spider-Dad is concerned! I hope Rusty has spectacular tastes in ties or something!
