angledge: (polar bear paw)
Sleep: Not good, predictably enough. I didn't follow my pre-bedtime routine last night & behold! I slept poorly. I played video games until way past my bedtime, didn't shower, didn't apply magnesium. Poor sleep was NOT surprising.

Breakfast: I was out of sorts upon waking up (surprise) & opted to make a cup of tea & head to my desk. Then I re-thought that plan & went back to make & eat a proper breakfast. While putting stuff away in the fridge, I dropped a Pyrex 9x13 baking dish that was full of delicious, delicious sweet potato quiche. It shattered all over my kitchen floor, into the breakfast nook, under the fridge. I was SO FREAKIN' ANGRY - I know I am a clumsy GIT, but it still annoys me when I do this stuff, over & over! Grrrrrr. It took me a solid 45 minutes to get everything cleaned up, & obviously the quiche is a complete loss (glass shards are not a #whole30-compliant food).

I ended up eating a prosciutto muffin, the last slice of non-glassy sweet potato quiche, half an avocado, & a second cup of black Scottish breakfast tea, & then an IM exchange with [livejournal.com profile] love2loveher put the whole thing in proper, laughable perspective, & then life went on.

Lunch: leftover lemon-garlic chicken & veggies, leftover coconut-almond green beans, salad, & kombucha.

Snack: cup of bone broth. Soo tasty & warming. I love sipping on bone broth & watching it snow.

Dinner: leftover lemon-garlic chicken & veggies, boiled green beans, acorn squash with pumpkin pie spice. This meal did not have enough fat in it - I should've melted some ghee on the squash.

[livejournal.com profile] hotpantsgalore & I went to the grocery store in the middle of a snowstorm. It was awesome - fastest grocery run ever.

Snack: handful of almonds.
