#whole30 WholeLent, Day 10.
Feb. 27th, 2015 08:44 pmSleep: Beautiful. At least 8 hours, & I didn't get out of bed once. That Cozy Cave is awesome - I heard Shadeaux wake up a couple of times in the night, but she got back in the Cave & went back to sleep without any action on my part. Bliss.
Breakfast: prosciutto muffin, half an avocado, navel orange, black Scottish breakfast tea.
Snack: I made a fresh batch of sweet potato quiche in my new glass 9x13 dish, & I snacked on a slice. Delicious.
Lunch: chili over squash & lacinto kale, salad.
While it was probably rash for
hotpantsgalore & I to have gone to the store on Wednesday night after the snowfall had started, I can't say I'm sorry that we did. We have five more days of snow predicted &, because of that trip, we are well-prepared for a long stint of Whole30 cooking here at home.

Snack: I donated whole blood today Bonfils Blood Center. I didn't have any dizziness or weakness even when I was down a pint. I ate an apple pie Larabar when I got home, but I really don't think I needed it.
Dinner: I ordered three jars of Primal Kitchen Mayo, & tonight I tried it for the first time. OMG. Sooo delicious! I made a quick sauce (mayo, lemon juice, finely minced garlic, salt, & pepper) & steamed some baby asparagus. I also ate a freezer meal - a pork/kale/squash stew I made & froze weeks ago. I am WELL-FED.
