#Whole30 #WholeLent Days 11 & 12.
Mar. 12th, 2017 02:24 pmSaturday
Sleep: Awful. My shoulder was killing me. It hurt all day.
Breakfast: skillet-fried potatoes, bacon, over-easy eggs, blended coffee (coffee, coconut oil, collagen powder).
Lunch: leftover butter chicken, cauli-rice, & steamed spinach.
Snack: Constant Comment tea with collagen powder & two coconut cream Larabars.
Dinner: We had a potluck. We provided smoked brisket. I also ate sauteed Brussels sprouts with bacon & potato salad (which was not compliant - it had sour cream in it). I also deliberately cheated, just a little. I ate a few crumbs of the cake Meredith brought. Considering how good her cake is, I consider this a major win. I haven't touched the leftover cake today, either.
Sunday
Sleep: Much better. Shadeaux didn't sleep in the bed with me last night & I slept very soundly. Hmmmmm. I'm not sure how long I slept because fucking Daylight Savings Time always messes with my sense of time. But it was nearly nine hours, I think. It felt great.
Breakfast: I made a 4S casserole, then ate 1/6th of it. I really like that casserole. Blended coffee (coffee, coconut oil, collagen powder). An apple with cashew butter.
Lunch: No real lunch, because breakfast was really late due to sleeping in & DST. I ate the last three spicy tuna cakes. I made a couple of shepherd's pies for dinner tonight & lunches this week.
Exercise: HPG & I took the dogs for a 40-minute walk at Bear Creek Park.
I went to church, then went to the grocery store.
Dinner: a yuge serving of shepherd's pie. So tasty. So good. I found myself thinking that the meal needed some veggies, forgetting that the topping is 100% cauliflower & there are onions & carrots in the filling. Still, some broccoli would've been nice.
