The salamander strikes again
May. 28th, 2003 09:34 amJust got an email. I've been subpoened to testify regarding the events of 16 April 2002. For those who haven't heard the story, this was the day when my former employer, ARCADIS G&M, drilled through an underground gasoline storage tank in the course of a soils investigation, releasing approximately 3,000 gallons of gas into the soil, groundwater, & sewer system of Center City Philadelphia. I was at the site that day NOT as part of the drilling team, but working on a separate task (sampling the existing monitoring wells). I've been hoping that, since I wasn't directly involved in the drilling activities that led to the spill, I wouldn't be involved in the inevitable court case.
No dice, it seems.
