hotpantsgalore is directing a show in the Impact Theater Winter One Act Festival. For a mere $15.00 ($12.00 for students & seniors), you can see six one-act plays. Her show is called Ignorance, written by Shannon Murdoch. It will be part of the second week of the festival. Show times & dates are:

February 8th: 8 PM
February 9th: 8 PM
February 10th: 8 PM
February 11th: 3 PM

Obviously, I'm going to be going to see the festival. I'd like to help mi chica to fill the house, so I invite you all to join me. I haven't picked a show yet, so I'm flexible on the date.

The venue is the Impact Theater, 190 Underhill Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238 (between Sterling and St. John's Place). Take the 2/3 to Grand Army Plaza. When leaving the Grand Army Plaza station, go up Plaza Street East, past Vanderbilt and up to St. John's Place. Turn left onto St. John's and walk until you reach Underhill. Go left on Underhill to about 1/2 way down the block. The theater will have a sign in front of it.

If I book the right flight, I could conceivably make one of the later performances (not the 8th, I have a court case to pay attention to down here). Can we convince FEMA to spring for it? I can train people to do, um, things. THINGS!

Hello from Delaware

Was wondering if you would like a visit from your Posse(me, Diana, Stacy and Terry) in Delaware...we would like to come to the Festival, but was hoping you would opt on going Sat.10th...we could head into the city on train during the day, see the show and go home...let us know what day you choose, Saturday is best for us.

It's starting to look like I am going to see the festival twice, once on Friday & once on Saturday. So if you want to come up for Saturday, that would be great!!

One caveat: hotpantsgalore's mom, who I have never met, is arriving in NYC on Saturday afternoon & will be at that night's performance. So, uh..... be nice, right?
