angledgeOh. My. GOD do I wish I could be in Philadelphia tonight.
If the Phillies win, omigod, the city is going to lose its collective MIND.
The last time the Phillies won the World Series was 1980, vs. the Kansas City Royals. I was at Game76. I was seven years old. Two days after the game, little brother weedweasel & I were diagnosed with chicken pox. Spider-Dad suggested that we are both at risk for shingles in the next few days. The Lil' Lucy Woman is in a permanent state of excitement over her beloved Fightin' Phils, & was not even available for laughing. She keeps the ticket stubs from Game 76 in her jewelery box.
