Taking my cue from the Mockingjay, today's game is: list every good thought I've had today. So far.

• I actually like how my hair looks right now.
  
• Today I am wearing a crazy sort-of batik print shirt that no ones likes. Except me, & I like it a lot.
  
• love2loveher's arm is recovering nicely & she is a very nice person indeed.
  
• I have tickets to see Mumford & Sons in Austin on June 9th. I looooove Mumford & Sons.
  
• My brother weedweasel's relocation to Denver has been a success & he seems happier than he's been in a long time.
  
• hotpantsgalore is going to be here in about a half-hour to have lunch with me.
  
• I just listened to a webcast by URS' CEO about 1Q2013 results & we're doing well. Also, our company has been operating a chemical weapons disposal facility & has helped destroy tons (literally, tons) of chemical weapons, & that's awesome.

More:

• My hip isn't hurting today, & my foot isn't hurting much.
  
• I took my neck pillow on the bus today & actually got a great nap on the way in to work. No shame in my mass-transit game, even if I was probably snoring with my mouth open.
  
• HPG took me to Sonic for lunch, because it was 50-cent corn dog day. And she doesn't even like corn dogs but they are my guilty pleasure.
  
• Our credit union ran an application for us & offered a very decent loan for purchasing a vehicle.

Ok, so let's see what I thought today that was good...

1. Even though it's Thursday, I have tomorrow off, so it's like Friday, and the Boss is out, the Deputy Boss is out, and the Big Boss is out, so it's a friggin' party day.
2. There are delicious Girl Scout cookies on my desk. Their days are numbered.
3. This weekend I'm going to terrify some people. Even better, I have minions whom I have assigned to terrify people in my name. It's like I've become the God of Fear. I am so hot right now.
4. Traffic jam at the Lincoln Tunnel meant a half hour of extra naptime on the bus before work. Booyah!
5. Vanilla Coke is delicious.
6. I think that tonight I deserve a Gin and Tonic.
