I've said it before and I'm sure I will again: I'm so peeved Neil comes to DC on family business (his son goes to school here somewhere) but never does signings for us. Maybe I've just jinxed him into doing one here soon. ;)
I like just about everything Neil's written. For favorite Sandman collection, I'll say Brief Lives of Doll's House. I'm going to break from the pack on overall favorite, though, and go with Mr. Punch. The CD version of Coraline is cool because it's like having Neil sitting next to you, telling a story.
When I was in SF a few years ago I went to the comic book art museum and they had an exhibit of Charles Vess's paintings from Stardust- beautiful!
