Hi all ~

I'm in the computer lab today working on an extremely dull paper (the Modifiable Areal Unit Problem and its implications for spatial analysis ... yawn). If anyone's out there (all you East Coasters should be arriving at your desks soon), here are some pointless questions for you to ponder, & then send me your answers:

Looked up Bowling Alone on Amazon. Sounds interesting. Other books that look interesting to me at this particular moment include:

finally noticed the bat attempting to crawl between the flaps of same. No, really, it's true! Well, except that he noticed it a lot faster than that. Let's be honest, when a bat is trying to get friendly with your nether regions, you don't put up with it, and neither did Alasdair, as he promptly shucked his tartan as if he were an ear of corn.
