Fresno whining

8:00 AM found me in the office of URS-Fresno for another day of reviewing zoning applications for proposed cellular towers.

Bliss.

It's supposed to be 96ºF here today (that's 35.5ºC for those who prefer Celsius). But remember: it's a dry heat.

Last night I had a dream that Terence McDonagh & I were building a bridge out of human bones. We were also drinking. A lot.

It was a vehicle-traffic bridge, over water. We were trying to calculate how many bones we would need to make a bridge strong enough to carry cars.
