If you read the community info, you will see that you don't need posting access to play. You just have to comment on the quizzes when they're posted every Tuesday.
Pub and pudding crawl, hehe... We don't have any Japanese yet. It'll be your sworn duty to teach your fellow instructors and students the ways of livejournal, and then get them quizzing. If we get the same level of funny that Penny Arcade got from their mistranslated cartoons, it'll be worth every moment.
I was looking through a couple of lesson plans that other ALTs had created and one licluded "have kids fill in speech bubbles in comics." It's a legit teaching tool! Bwahahaha!
