WholeLent, Day 2.
Feb. 19th, 2015 10:29 pmSleep: Last night, I showered before bed & applied 6 sprays of topical magnesium after drying off. I fell asleep the second I laid down & slept straight through to 7 AM. That is going to be the new ideal routine.
Breakfast: two servings of sweet potato quiche, half an avocado, a navel orange, black Scottish breakfast tea.
Lunch: big bowl of gumbo z'herbes, kombucha.
Snack: an Epic lamb/currant bar around 4:00 PM. God, I love these things.
Dinner: leftover mocha beef/carrots/potatoes with steamed spinach. Soooo filling.
I simmered up a batch of barnyard bone broth last night/today (barnyard bone broth is when I make a broth out of all the bones I've saved up - a mixture of chicken, pork, & beef). I have tons of frozen meals stocked up & right now I'm living off my stockpile. But I'm out of prepared breakfast foods, so right now I'm baking sweet potato quiche & getting ready to prepare prosciutto muffins.
I think I did three loads in the dishwasher today. That's the #whole30 life in a nutshell.
