#whole30 WholeLent, Day 16.
Mar. 5th, 2015 08:21 pmSleep: very good. I did my pre-bedtime routine & was in bed at 10 o'clock. I fell asleep almost instantly & slept straight through to 6:00 AM, then dozed until about 6:30 AM. I feel very alert & energetic.
Breakfast: tuna cake, slice of sweet potato quiche, half an avocado, blueberries, black Constant Comment tea. I microwaved the tuna cake wrapped in a paper towel, which resulted in a well-warmed cake with no mess to clean up. That's the way to do them.
Lunch: chili/spinach/squash & kombucha.
Snack: Epic lamb bar, navel orange, & roasted, salted almonds.
I made two Colorado cottage pies using Melicious' shepherd's pie recipe at Clothes Make The Girl, replacing ground lamb with ground buffalo. The topping is mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes.
Dinner: Colorado cottage pie. Yeah, probably should've served some veggies next to it. But mmmmm, pie.
