#Whole30 #WholeLent Day 6.
Mar. 6th, 2017 04:36 pmSleep: not great. Shadeaux was restless, my left shoulder was twinging, & I got to bed late because HPG & I went to see Logan last night. Maybe seven hours of broken rest.
Breakfast: leftover shakshuka/sweet potatoes (I think it was actually better on the second day!) & blended coffee (collagen powder & coconut oil - no ghee, because I've run out).
Exercise: 2,800 yards swimming. I was suffering from a bit of Day 6 brain fog, so I really, really, REALLY had to focus on keeping track of reps, intervals, etc. But I did it. Good workout.
Lunch: ALL THE THINGS. Leftover Mulligatawny stew. Salad (diced turkey, lettuce, peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrots, Tessamae's balsamic dressing). Pickled beets. Two spicy tuna cakes. Aaaaand a clementine.
Then I went to Bonfils Blood Center & donated a single unit of platelets.
Snack: coconut cream Larabar.
Dinner was a bit of a grab bag, because I didn't have time to go home between my blood donation appointment & book club. So I packed a selection of stuff that travels: two more spicy tuna cakes (good thing I like them so much), three more clementines, an EPIC lamb bar, & a banana. I ate them in my truck while waiting for book club time to roll around. I should've grabbed some veggies to make it more balanced - some raw broccoli &/or carrots or something.
At book club, I drank a cup of peppermint tea & ate an apple pie Larabar.
