Finally, URS-NYC comes through.

I got the transfer approved. First day at my new office will be Tuesday October 10th.

What a relief! I'd like to celebrate this with a drink, but I can't drink right now so you all will have to drink for me.

1) I have tickets to see the Indigo Girls at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL on Friday Oct. 13th with la chica, chaosvizier, & katieledge. I am unbelievably excited about this - what a first weekend date, huh?

That is so exciting. SO Exciting. I've seen them twice - but the second time I realized that I really just wanted them to play the "Closer to Fine" CD over and over - and anything that's come out in the past ten years or so I have no clue about.

But Des ALWAYS buys himself Macallan. Shouldn't I buy him something he wouldn't necessarily pick out for himself? We both like Oban 14 & have shared many a dram of it. Or, I could get him a Dalwhinnie 15, one of my personal favorites....

....or I could get him a bottle of that awesome gin that chaosvizier was going on about recently. Just for a change-up. I know he likes gin.
