OMG WTF polar bear!

38 more hours until I see the endocrinologist. I hope she has some immediate solutions.

But hey, I can wear size 10 jeans now. That's a first since high school.

hotpantsgalore & I went to the Bronx Zoo last weekend. We got there before noon, which seems to be the way to go. The later it got, the larger the crowds became. Still, we had a great time & I'd definitely like to go back (& get there even earlier).

Our favorite animal? Definitely the polar bear. We watched him for at least an hour.

oh, ang. nothing like seeing pics from the bronx zoo to make me more homesick than i have been in awhile. i feel like i grew up walking the paths of the zoo, finding all the fun things, and then i had a summer job in college where the day camp i was working for would go on trips all the time, and i was the counselor EVERYONE wanted to be with on trips to the zoo, because i knew my way away from the crowds, and loads of funny information about the animals...
