SPACE COWS!

So today I got to go to the Johnson Space Center in Houston. But not to look at rocketships or anything. No, we were there to survey the storm damage done to an agricultural education center run by the local school district. I don't know, maybe it's a Texan thing - if they see an open parcel of land (like the ones around rocketships) they simply MUST move a herd of cows onto it.
Anyway, these weren't regular cows - these were Texas Longhorns, cousins of the famous Bevo. They are at NASA because.... well, you see... um, the reason is....
Honestly, I have NFI why NASA keeps cows at Mission Control. Even the Internet could not answer this question (!!!). But who cares? They were cute! AND - in order to get to the site to do the damage assessment, I had to get badged. I was WAY excited to have a real NASA security badge.

Longhorns + rocketships = SPACE COWS.
