INFJ-T.

I've done the Myers-Briggs personality test before. I've gotten several different results. I'm not sure what that means - do I have several personalities? I think it means that I've changed over time. That shouldn't be surprising.

I tried to answer this test as honestly as possible, even though I'm not very happy with myself right now. It diagnosed me as an INFJ-T, the Advocate.

"The Advocate personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact. They tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all."

I wish I knew what to do with this information.

I'm letting days slip by without action. It's getting easier & easier. This needs to change. How???

I was in Robby's truck. He was driving me & two of our crew to Ouray from Silverton via the Red Mountain Pass. It is some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. We were all talking & joking, & - despite the rocky start Gold King Season 2018 has had due to the 416 Fire - everyone was in excellent spirits & seemed excited for the upcoming work.

And my heart felt light enough to float up into the sky. I am doing the job I was meant to do. I am in the company of people that I truly care about - even the ones I just met this week. I am living in one of the most gorgeous corners of God's good creation. I am using so many skills I have developed over my entire lifetime, all in the service of protecting the environment.

All is well, all is well, all manner of things shall be well. Amen.

Sleep: GORGEOUS. I kept my promise to myself & made sleep a top priority last night. No TV, lights all low in the house, started my pre-bedtime routine at about 9 PM. I was in bed by 9:40 PM & asleep by 10 PM. I slept all the way through to 7 AM & I feel one thousand times better. YAY.

Breakfast: bulletproof-ish coffee (less ghee & coconut oil, stronger brew), S&SBC, fresh strawberries, kim-chi.

Lunch: corn tortilla chips, quick guacamole (half an avocado plus a spoonful of El Fenix salsa), salad (red butter lettuce, carrots, tomato, celery, Bragg's dressing). #surprisenosuprise: tortilla chips are DEFINITELY a FWOB for me - I will eat a bag of them until they are gone, & then shake the chip dust from the bottom of the bag into my mouth, & then look for another bag.

Snack: kombucha.

Snack: Crispix cereal, made of corn & rice. I meant to eat a handful or two but WHOOAAH! Another massive FWOB! I ate three-quarters of a box, mindlessly munching along. I was so full I didn't eat dinner.

I think that the most unhealthy thing about grains may be that they displace healthier foods from my diet. I ate Crixpix today instead of the tuna cake, steamed greens, & squash I had planned to have for dinner. Even if I'm not sensitive to non-gluten grains, that was a bad tradeoff.

There have been problems with the electricity over the last few days, which has caused all room heaters in the buildings to be nonfunctional. I understand that the unversity is trying to resolve this as a matter of urgency. I will send an update when I know that the problem is solved. I am sorry that rooms are cold: we are doing all we can. Many thanks for your patience: please be assured that Accommodation Services takes this very seriously.
