Sleep: I resorted to sleeping pills last night. I was tired, my shoulder was hurting, & I knew I needed some rest. So I pharmaceutically checked out with two Tylenol PMs at about 10 PM. Slept straight through to 6 AM & woke up with both Shadeaux & Hobbes in the bed. Apparently I didn't latch the crate properly last night & the little guy decided to sleep with his pack members. Or - this is possible - I got up in the middle of the night to let him out, didn't put him back in the crate, & don't remember it because I took sleeping pills. Guess we'll never know.

Breakfast: big slice of 3S casserole & a cup of black Constant Comment tea.

Snack: I had a cup of black coffee when I got to the office to fight the remnants of sleeping-pill hangover. And two clementines.

Lunch: the last of the mixed veggie zoodles & spaghetti sauce. I have a bunch of other food here at the office but I'm not very hungry today (as opposed to yesterday, when I was ravenous). Half a multi-green kombucha.

Snack: apple pie Larabar. I guess I was hungry? I don't know today.

Exercise: brief walk with the whole fam.

Dinner: Chicken Prosciutto Involtini, cauliflower mash, & a garden salad. I didn't follow the recipe very closely - I stuffed the chicken with a mixture of mayo & leftover pesto sauce from Tuesday's meal. It. Was. So. GOOD.

This was a good day - lots of protein diversity (eggs, pork sausage, ground bison, chicken, prosciutto), starch diversity (butternut squash, cauliflower), fats (coconut oil, coconut milk, almonds, walnuts, pine nuts, olive oil), veggies (mixed greens, zucchini, yellow squash, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers), & fruit (apples, dates, raisins, & clementines).
