Jul. 5th, 2003 12:22 amHelloooooo Angela!
Great to hear from you. I miss the DQ, too, but I really have to concentrate my efforts on standup for a while. You know how it is. I am really, really bad at focusing on one thing. I've spent my whole life flitting from one project to another without putting 100% into anything. I'm *this* close to a breakthrough in the comedy bidness and that leaves little time for anything else. (Save whores.) But don't fret, the patient DQers will receive their reward in one of two ways: Either I'll become famous and everyone can come hang out with famous people with me, or I'll flop and go back to doing the DQ, which is also fun.
Scotland sounds like a lot of fun. Kudos to you for picking an English-speaking country (sort of.) I don't think you'd have nearly as much fun if you'd have to learn Bantu or something. Fucking Kenyans.
Anyway, love to mom. Tell her stay off that hip.
Stay in touch!
Dave
This is a photo of me with the QuizMaster, back in January. The QM had just won the amateur stand-up comedy competition at the DC Improv, & we were havin' a celebratory drink. Or, in my case, four celebratory drinks. Long Island Iced Teas, all of them. It was the owies the next day.

The owies probably came from the door that you walked into. You drunken monkey, you.
